1961-1991 are the years Suffolk Raceway has been around in Suffolk Virginia. While there is nothing anyone can do to bring back our love for drag racing. For the past 8 years we have and will celebrate who they were, how they lived and remember how their lives were spent in a sport that had no name other then "DRAG RACING". Man are we going through some major withdrawals due to the fall in economics. Its has become a challenge to get sponsors and a event location. To hold a large event that has grown into in the past eight years.

So this year Jerry Moore and I will be going drag racing nostalgia style, with our 50 A/Altered Crosley. It is not just missing the rush of driving the car but missing the camaraderie with the other teams, whether they be friend or foe. It’s the entire sport that makes any day of these events an exciting and memorable part of our lives.
