Hi Jack, I ran the Dos Palmas AA/GD in England in 1964. I have been looking for the car for sometime. It was sold to someone in the Woodbridge/Manassas VA area some years ago. The guy who owned it at the time was Bill Weichelt who was in the air force. He brought it back from England where I had sold it. Got any idea how I can go about trying to find it? Vicki Ross Bolla said… Jack hello We joind this sight, because we have 1967/8 grumpy's toy ... the car that won the nationals in 67. and raced again in 68 as as 68 .(the car on the cover of Doug boyce's book). the grump hangs up on me when i call him or wont answer the phone. as this was the cheating car. the whole car was acid diped. to remove weight.I have pics of this car in mags.With cut marks and dents that match our car perfectly.this car earned its rights to fame and needs to be reconized as a warior that was not defeted.
