 I believe its 1970.I am 17 with a friend 16.We are standing in staging lanes at OCIR for prostock qualifing.We see Dick leaning on his car walk over and proceed to ask about front wheels.We had never seen.Cragar Super Tricks.He proceeds to school 2 young fans about how light they are and how they have helped for 15 minutes.It just does not get any better than that.Thank you Sincerely RIP Kevin Doyle.

The Dandy One cut his teeth as one of the top early funny car campaigners. He later went on to become a true superstar in the ultra competitive world of Pro Stock racing. ALWAYS a threat for top speed, he made major horsepower. I saw him race at OCIR in 1977 and that was one of the highlights of that race for me.

I have a few pics posted on my page of some of the Landy cars that I took at the All Hemi Reunion here in Ohio back in 2008.. If I knew how to post pics to other sights I would gladly send them to you.
