Vicki Ross Bolla,

My personal email is I am from Malvern, PA and friends with several of the old Jenkins Comp employees. There are about 7 of us that are aware of the correct VIN for Toy IV. Bill also verified this when he was made aware of the car's whereabouts over 10 years ago but informed all it was not capable of being restored. If you have the original Toy IV I can verify at least that it has the correct VIN number, but then you will have to provide detailed photos of the car and restoration to convince others that this is the original TOY IV. I hope that it is and I will be happy to confirm if you provide the VIN number in an email. I am respectfully awaiting your email.

Understand that a couple ex-"Toys" are up for auction late this month at the Mecum Auction in Kissimmee.  Any "stories" here?

"Grumpys Toys" available for January 15th delivery through all online bookstores, including publisher Cartech which does has a number of sample pages up for viewing on their website. Take a look at all cars from the Old Reliables through to the last Grumpys Toy. Additionally the book dips into design, developement, race highlights, factory ties etc.
The book will be available in all local bookstores after Jan15th. I can't thank Bill enough as he was a willing contributor from the get go along with the likes of Jere Stahl, Ed Hedrick, Pete Preston, Doc Burgess, Mike Strickler, Ken Dondero, Ed Quay, Steve Johns, Joe Lepone Jr etc.
Approximately 300 rare photos help tell the story and make this book well worth the purchse.
